Overview:
    Developed as a following on to the APL-4M the 5M would drop the composite skeleton, ELRMs,
    and XL engine in favor of IS produced endo-steal and two Artemis IV supported MML-9s, and a
    more powerful less fragile LFE. Each launcher would come with 2 tons of CASE II protected
    ammo. Two IS er-medium lasers would be installed into the center torso to complete the
    weapons package. The new engine would allow the APL-5M to obtain speeds of 85 km/h. 11 Is
    double heatsinks would keep the APL-5M heat neutral even at a run, while the mech would be
    wrapped in 11 tons of standard plate.
