According to qktheatre.com, there will be a boxed set of episodes released sometime next year. As a part of this boxed set, there will be a special collector's Snake-Eyes figure. The figure will be the swivel-arm 1982 done up in blue. He will have a file card, a sword, an uzi IIRC, and a 'wolf' named Timber (actually, Hasbro seemingly lost the mold for Timber, so it's really 1990 Dusty's coyote 'Sandstorm' repainted. I've seen images of the prototype, which interestingly enough was supposed to have been a mail-in).

I picked up a box set of GI Joe Cartoons here not to long ago, it had two episodes per tape and there where three tapes.
Had the two parter where part of the Joe Team is transported to an alternate earth where Cobra one, that I think was one of the best one.
The rest were a mix of shows. Over all worth the $24 bucks I paid.

I have all 9 VHS tapes, and frankly while they have some really good episodes on them, thy have also chosen some really crappy ones on them as well. I also have the Movie on DVD, the one with the bug people now why won;t they release the rest of the movies? that was by far the worst of the movies.
but I may still check it out. What format will it be? Just VHS or DVD also?

No word yet, they just said that the figure would probably be packaged with the box set. Most likely, if Rhino follows the pattern they have with Transformers it'll be the first half of the 1985 season, with the second half out by Christmas of next year. (There were 55 episodes in the first season if you count the mini-series that year as five episodes.)
BTW, there was only one Movie- the rest were actually mini-series even though some were aired as such.

There's been an update. The set will be the 1983 and 1984 mini-series. There will be two initial waves. One wave of releases will be in February. The other will be sometime in May and will have some extras to it. The first 25,000 copies of the May run will have the figure.
