OK Red Sox fans, are you among the 74% that said the Sox should fire Little or are you in the 26% that says keep him another year.
So, if you want to keep him just say so, but if you want to fire him you've got another question to answer...
...who do you get to manage the team?
And for those "soap box" fans you can't answer "anybody", you have to pick someone and why he's better then Little (plus remember he has to be available too).

Keep Grady Little.
Yeah I think he screwed up on his last decision, but overall, he helped guide the team through a hell of a year, and two excellent series.
If you fire him, you won't find any better.
Instead of whining about firing Grady Little, how about concentrating on getting a very good starting pitcher to give Lowe and Pedro a hand.
I hear Andy Petitt is a free agent now.

I say fire him, but I have no idea who to hire in his place. I don't know anything about professional baseball. If you want my suggestion, I'd say my old baseball coach. He was good.

Fire him!
Grady Little is not good at managing his bullpen. Knowing who to bring in, when to take them out, etc. is VERY important in the game. It wasn't just the one game he screwed up. Look back over the course of the season and look at how he managed the bullpen. It was very poorly done.
Who would replace him? That's very easy. Jery Remy. He knows more about the game of baseball and all the situations than anybody I know, including most of the current crop of managers. The players like him. The fans LOVE him. He's very smart. Doesn't sound like a hick.
Now, the only probalem is convincing him to do it. He's said time-and-time again that he doesn't want to manage because he doesn't want to deal with the headaches of it. Plus, I don't know if I'd really want to loose him in the announcers booth. He's one of the reasons the Sox are fun to watch.

I say keep him. One reason why the sox played so well this year is because of his style. I can't think of anyone as qualified at the moment.
I aslo don't believe he's to blame for us not winning game 7. Why?
A. Hands down Pedro is our best pitcher, and in the 8th he was pitching harder and more acurate than in the innings before, people who say he was out of gas are just plain wrong.
B. He was up 0-2 on Matsui when said player slapped a way inside pitch down the line...not a bad pitch by PM
C. Posada's bloop single could've just as easily been an out...it was a freak hit.
I also would've let Pedro pitch. If a few quirky things hadn't happened the nay-sayers would've been praising Grady as super-manager for letting Pedro get the big win he so needed to elevate his career status. Unfortunately the bums who blame Grady are also the ones who blame Bill Buckner. The reality is there were dozens of ways the Red Sox lost and dozens of ways they could've still won that game and series. Enough said.
Hey, wait till next year!
