Been sick as a dog lately (heh), and, since I was stuck at home with *nothing* to do for three weeks, I pulled out the beloved old Battletech stuff and started re-reading.
And as everyone knows, when I get NastalgiaTech on me, I swing by Mordel's.
Gotta say, the place looks a wee bit different than the last time I was here! Bravo, man! Quite the pretty!
So ... what's new? Have they released anything since the Civil War book (my GOD that's a dry read!) or has it all just been Dark Ages?

You know.. just as I was posting in the above missile thread, I was thinking "If only Old Dog could view this..."
Welcome back
And you know.. I'm playing Battletech more than ever, that's why I don't post much on this board, is better to play the game than talk about it
But that changes with you on board again
(pun not intended)
Please stay, I have a lot of stuff to discuss with you and exchange impressions.

Welcome back. Pull up a chair, grab a mech, and try not to get blown to pieces.

Oh, I plan on hanging around for a while, and I plan on eyeballing your missile plan.
Mind you, I *still* think that making them 6-shooters is the way to go for speed. (LRM 6, 12, 18, and 24) ... roll a hit location for each 6-pack, then roll a d6 for teh damage inflicted. Cuts *way* down on t he time to go to the missile chart, and is a nice, easy, universal way to handle things.
But, first, I guess I should go read your thread, huh?

Welcome back man (err dawg)! Glad to see you're still kciking (err barking). Don't be such a stranger. Stop by more often. These folks miss you around here. As for the site, I'm constantly updating it and adding stuff. Glad you like it.

Oh, and the important part of course...welcome back Old Dog! Damn it man...er, dawg...you don't have a flea collar yet?

Yeah, I've been in and out now for about six years, and, I know I don't play as much as I should, (okay, almost never), but I still like to come by for a beer and a chat.
And, it's always nice to see some of the Old Dogs come out of their corner for a little scratch behind the ears...
Welcome back friend!
Alexander

I don't really know *how* long I've been around, really. Five years? Ten? Clsoer to t en I'm thinking.
Holy cats!
At one point, I think I was the youngest poster on the board, but, I don't think that applies anymore.
Wowzers.

Ancient Hound, I've been here for ten years. Verio and Arcturus were regulars. Head-Hunter was the king of Comedy....
Damn, it's good to hear that bark.....

I'm so sad that I've only got, what? 200 posts? I could swear I was more active here than that...

I don't even remember how long I've had my site let alone how long people have been members. People say they've been a member for 10 years. I can believe that because I remember visiting my site when I was a student in college. And that was almost 10 years ago.
You had more posts. But each time I've moved in the past, all the posts were lost. When I switched the boards from a CGI based system to this PHP system, all the messages were lost. Well, if all goes well in my plan to dominate the world, the messages will never dissappear again.
