Calgary beat the Sharks to make the Stanley cup Finals!!!
Hopefully Philly can overcome their game deficit to beat Tampa.

Call me old fashioned but I'm still not hooked on all those team relocations. Who was Tampa Bay before they moved? I can't recall.

I thought Tampa was an expansion team...
It is good to see a Canadian team in the finals ( it has been too long)!
The Stanley Cup will come North once again!

Only because more than half the players in the leauge are from Canada and each member of the winning team gets to take it home for a day.

They were...both they and the Ottawa Senators entered the league the same year.

Tampa is a newer team....Ottawa's been around for awhile. I know Tampa wasn't around whent the rangers beat the canucks in 94 but Ottawa I think was....anyone help on this?

Read the following words and understand them carefully...
Do not ever question my knowledge about hockey. EVER.
Both teams began play in the 1992-93 season. And Tampa was in the Rags division when they won The Cup in the 93-94 season.

The original Ottawa Senators played from 1917 to 1934. The current team began play in 1992.

I thought so. Well, perhaps this change in coaching staff, a new goalie and threats of physicla harm will take the Senators to the Cup next year....oh wait, there probably won't be a Stanley Cup Series next year due to the pending players strike.

The players aren't going on strike, the owners are planning on locking them out.
That's a big difference when it comes to negotiations...

You know Philly was originally an expansion team...and the first expansion team to win the cup too. 1974 if i remember aright.
