Okay below are the stats for ComStar's version of the Ghost Bear Grizzly Mech. The idea behind this and several other mechs that ComStar is sending to front line units and to their Invader Galaxy, is a simple one, the make up a lot of the Second Line mechs is very close to what can be built in the Inner Sphere and the amout of firepower can be match to point.

This was the last project Fotch signed off on before handing power over to Victor, who didn't see any reason to cancell it.

Notes----
Both versions are able to work together or alone, thus allowing the lance commanders to have the flexibity they need to get the job done.

The mechwarriors who have been asgined these mechs have raved on about how well they hand and how much control it gives them. So far next to no complaints have come back from the field.

The staff in charge of this project is looking forward to the next two mechs, the Galahad and one that will really impress the commanders and soliders alike.

I would presonally recommend dropping the Light Gauss in favor of an AC in your second variant. I dislike the first as it does not have JJs like the original Grizzly.

Well, sometimes you have to give and take to get what you want...on the first one I was going for a quick and dirty take off and got that. Sorry if it's not having jump jets doesn't cut it for you.

The second works with the light Gauss and gives it back the jump jets the first version was missing. And why would droping the light gauss for an AC be a better idea? What kind of AC are you suggesting?

Well at least someone stopped making Victor stupid (like the authors did after Stackpole left).

That is a nice mech. though maybe changeing the Light Gauss for a AC10 would give it the ability to play with the new special ammos. But I love the concept. Makes alot of sence.
