While the ATM-Narc combo looks good on the surface, I think that it may be a little to short ranged. Especially due to the somewhat stunted range of the Narc launcher. The use of an iNarc would let the mech use the iNarc to tag targets for the ranged ATM rounds. The ER mediums will let the mech defend itself, and perhaps continue to attack once the ATMs run dry. Should all else fail, use the Masc to escape to friendly territory for refit.

This review just made me go: WTF?!?
This is a Clan omni. So what on earth would iNarc do on it?
The ATMs come with integral ArtIV. So no NARC for them.
And I won't even go into the aspect that I consider reviews that are concerned with modifying the canon design counterproductive. Sorry, but this is just a general venting. I've tripped over many a review that I disliked (I possibly have written a few myself!), but I think my fuse has just grown too short!

But apart from me bitching about, I would also love to actually talk about that Shadow Cat.
Truth be told, that design also makes me go: WTF?!
Effectively, compared to the PRIME, this loses a gauss rifle and gains an ERML and an ATM6. But the whole - effect is made heaps worse by that inclusion of NARC. Which relegates an aggressive Clan 45-ton omnimech to being a support machine. It can't use the NARC for its own purpose. It has to deploy it for other machines. Which kinda also goes against Clan single-combat doctrines. What do you guys think?

I've never been sure about exactly what circumstances void zellbrigen (in practice, not in theory). Because of this, I've never understood why any Clan designs mount TAG or NARC. Scouts with active probe I can see, because they still fight as a unit, but not NARC, or TAG, or light TAG. So this one does seem kind of strange.
On the proposing of changes in a review. While I generally agree with you, I don't think it's quite as bad as you do. For some designs (War Dog), a suggestion about changing something is almost unavoidable. At least it is for me. This is why I proposed having a guide or sticky thread where people could discuss what should be in a review. And it could be something newbies could easily see.
