What is your favorite clan mech and why? Could be for any reason.
I like the Daishi cos its the ultimate assault mech. The Ryoken because its the best all round mech and the Dasher because its an amazing recon mech.
Your turn....

Omnimechs:
Puma: A dangerous 'mech; putting all of that firepower on such a small chassis means you've got to watch your heat though. It's good in a fire support role though.
Hankyu: The best of the light scouts; faster than a Koshi, and able to take a bit more damage than a Dasher. The jump capacity helps here too. It carries a good electronics suite as well. The variants carry clusters of lasers and Streaks, giving it good firepower for something this size.
Black Hawk: I prefer this over the Ryoken because of the jets.
Dragonfly: None of the canon configurations are really to my liking, but the basic frame is excellent. If you can customize this 'mech it makes an excellent scout. It works in much the same way as a Spider.
Shadow Cat: I like to use this for screening my heavies and assaults. The Gauss rifle puts out respectable damage. Jump jets and MASC as well.
Nobori-Nin: Best all-round clan medium omnimech.
Cauldron-Born: The Prime is horrid, but the other configurations pack a lot of punch.
Thor: If I'm running a clan unit this is my ride of choice.
Night Gyr: A bit slower than your average clan heavy, but it makes up for it in armor and firepower.
Nova Cat: Same concept as the Night Gyr.
Turkina: You can't go wrong with a jumping 95 ton 'mech

Favorite Light is the Dasher..
Favorite medium is the Backhawk with the 12 extended medium lasers.. I like mechs that can heat up if needed.
Rarely use the rest, but the Turkina seems a pretty nasty thing..

Puma: Awesome firepower, especially in the Prime config. Some people say it's slow, but it's plenty fast enough for me. Also the only Clan Omni for which I use the Inner Sphere name.
Viper: Fast with good jump, like a Spider but better. Also nicely armored. The default configurations are sub-optimal (they suck, for the most part), but it's simple enough to make better configs for the mission.
Stormcrow: Fast and powerful, especially the Prime. I've made a few killer configs.
Nova Cat: The best Clan heavy. The Night Gyr is heavier, but they have the same pod tonnage and the Nova Cat has more free crits. Works well with the high heat, all energy configs which are its default, the type of configs which I prefer most.
Warhawk: Four PPCs or LPLs with a tar comp to ruin someone's day. The chassis annoys me though. With ES instead of FF, you get max armor and an extra ton of pod space. So what idiot put in FF instead?
Turkina: As stated, a jumping monster.
Dire Wolf: Also a jumping monster, if you want it to be. But has the ability to lose the jets if you prefer, which I like. I've got a swarm of Dire Wolf configs, and I seldom use the canon ones if I have the option.

Turkina, mean ass-kicking machine. Jump Jets, heavy armour, heavy firepower (well, not THAT heavy, but good enough...). Good heat capacity in most cases too...
Specifically the B variant.

I really like the Blood Asp PRIME.
What's better than a 95 ton clan mech with twin gauss?

The few times I've used clanner mechs at all, the Ryoken was the most impressive. Fast, deadly, durable for a medium.
If I want to kill something incredibly much I pick the Masakari, preferably a variant with LPLs.

Not surprising considering that you're actually a Ice Hellion in the first place

mine would have to be the blackhawk prime as that's the only one i've used. I used it against a freind of mine and just about tore his mech to peices with it. _________________ A wise man speaks because he has something to say. A fool speaks because he must say something.

Light - Puma Prime. What can you say about a pair of PPCs on a light..
Medium - Nova Prime. I love the MLs.
Heavy - Viper Pulse laser Version. I've beaten 5 mad cats with this one...
Assault - Bane Jade Falcon Version. 8 Racks of LRM15's ... Bring on the pain...

I have got to admit that there are so many cool clan mech configurations. But the Warhawk with 4 LPL's takes the cake, its evil.
Another favorite of mine is the dear old Uller, quite a speedy lil mech but also has a good bite on it.
