Seems that just about everyone who plays uses alot of mech forces, but I havent seen much about people using infantry and vehicles.
How many people out there use infantry and/or vehicles when they play?
What kind of infantry (armored, foot, etc.) do you use? How about vehicles? Got any favorites?

I use a lot of both, (more than 'Mechs sometimes.) I have a battalion of Infantry (regular foot - but air mobile), plus a battalion of Armour that I use for reconnaissance and rear area / flank security. Plus I have a Company of Artillery that I use often.
I also have a reserve unit with a company of Armour and two of Infantry for home security.

Use them often 
Played right a mixed force of mechs, vehicles and infantry can deal an equivalent force in mechs its head(s).

Both.
Foot infantry for defense, deployed hidden. It's quite satisfying when someone evades your mechs or armor and blunders straight into a full SRM platoon. 
BA troopers are useful too, but I haven't used them quite as much.
Vehicles I like: either fast hover tanks for slashing at backs, or slow heavy tanks for pounding stuff flat.

i regularly use a mixed combat force. However, I rairly use any infintry that is not BA or SRM/Laser Jump Infantry. The other infantry types just don't stand a chance on most battlefields.

I use vehicles quite often however the person i play with is quite new and hasn't got their head around ifantry yet. Though i use them often on megamek.
Vehicles make some great battles and are much simpler than mechs to use.

I use vehicles as much as i use mechs. Usually together. Infantry I tend to keep seperate. Keep them away from the larger units so as not to draw fire. I like to keep casualties down.

| i like to use tanks and CRUNCHES aka infantry. i use my inf. as cannon fodder. i like to see a huge body count:D. tanks play various roles as harassers or fount line along side my Machs. i will allot of time target my own inf. with arty to get a kill.

I'm sure your troops appreciate that. I'd recommend that you don't take inspection tours of the lines; someone might frag you accidentally.
I don't often use normal infantry. Battle armor and vehicles I use occasionally. I like heavy hovers; they pack a nice punch while still moving quickly.

When I played btech we never played with any infantry but if i remember right I one the characters
had an apc which we had use a couple of times.

Hey, snakes are cheap and obedient.
But I know what you mean. Some of the officers who trained us wouldn't live to see the enemy if there was a crisis.

So has anyone ever played a game with just infantry, or just vehicles?

I have done a battle with 2 companies of vehicles and 8 squads of infantry to a side. took less time than a comparable mech battle. The infantry outlasted the vehicles by 14 turns. Without the vehicles it reminded me of a chess game with only the kings remaining.

I use everything, and I use lots of them. When PCs say, when will we fight mechs, you got them. Plus I love to teach a little respect.
AWAD- Make them keep the MGs and SRM, throw vehicles and infantry at them
