Another lightish 'mech. Tell me what you think.
Type/Model: Meat Man MTM-3G
Tech: Inner Sphere / 3025
Config: Biped BattleMech
Rules: Level 1, Custom design

Chassis: Chariot Type Ia Standard
Power Plant: 270 GM Fusion

Maximum Speed: 97.2 km/h

Jump Capacity: 0 meters
Armor Type: Grumman-3 Standard
Armament:
1 FarFire Maxi-Rack LRM 20
2 Averell Highpoint Medium Lasers
Manufacturer: Cosara Weaponries
Location: Northwind
Communications System: Garret T11-b
Targeting & Tracking System: Garret D5J
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
Designed by the staff at Cosara Weaponries as a fast bombardment 'mech, the
Meat Man is light, fast, is easily able to take down a lighter machine, and
can seriously damage even heavy 'mechs.
==Capabilities:==
The Meat Man is so named because almost no 'mech mounts such a murderous
weapon while being able to remain so inconspicuous. This sting comes in the
form of a single Farfire Maxi-Rack mounted on the 'mechs right arm. To prevent
the 'mech from becoming completely defenseless after its missiles are
expended, the designers gave it a pair of Avrell Highpoint lasers.
Unfortunately, the design suffered significantly from the fall of the Star
League, as it could no longer be provided with the advanced Atremis targeting
systems, Endo-Steel structure, and Ferro-Fibrous armor that made it so
terrificly efficient.
==Deployment==
The Meat Man has recieved huge fanfare from the units it is stationed in. Fast
enough to move with scout and raider lances, but powerful enough to contribute
on the open field, the Meat Man is quite versatile, and as a result, popular.

I think I like it. There's a huge weapon for fire support and the speed to get it where it's needed, along with ammo for 12 salvos. I'd group it with other fast support machines such as the Scorpion, or perhaps as the single heavier mech in a pack of Commandos and Wolfhounds.

the armor is light for its weight but that LRM-20 will keep most busy for awhile. The speed is very good though and u can perform hit and run attacks with the LRM-20.

I saw the speed and though: Hmmm P-hawk K!
Then I saw the weaponry: Whitworth!
So, basically you have a 'mech that combines the movement of a scout and the firepower of a light missile boat. Nice work!
Though mind you, I'd still prefer my beloved Trebuchet. At least this one has more ammo!
Good work. I LOVE that you are doing a whole bunch of lvl1 designs!

My design philosophy: a machine should never rely on high-tech tricks. Otherwise, what happens when those tricks are no longer available? _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges.
