==Overview:==
After a long absence from the Inner Sphere the Winnebago is back. Gm has
resurrected the line that used to be a hit with people of ancient terran days.
A slightly modular design the new Winnebago is a interesting piece of work.
The company offers a wide range of upgrades and additions to for the Motor
home, With a base length of 45 feet long and 9' wide they offer a lot of room
for upgrades. (There are several models that have extendable sides and are
available upon request, one of these has up to 3 side-outs and all will sleep
4 to 6 comfortably)
==Capabilities:==
Originally GM thought of using just a standard I.C.E engine but after doing a
market analysis and talking with people they found that people wanted
something that would be easy to maintain and not run a huge fuel bill (a 200
gallon fuel tank was originally planned, and with fuel prices on the rise and
currently at over $5 a gallon, well you can imagine the response to that). So
a clean burning fusion engine was installed to power the Motor Home. This also
had long term benefits that the company hadn’t planned on. I.C.E engines tend
to run loud and can disturb the peace, in addition to the exhaust fumes
produced there were several, environmental agencies that were ready to ban the
vehicle before the first one was completed.
A 4 tons of cargo space was added but broken up into several sections of the
MH, 2 long and deep bins run under the mid section of the vehicle and several
a located inside.
Since these vehicles are meant to act as homes away from home a lot of planning
went into the interiors, with the fold out technology and the starting size of
many of these the list of extras are impressive, and include. Diesel Generator,
Side-by-side Refrigerator, Awning, Awnings All Around, Air Horns, Air
Conditioning, Remote Heated Mirrors, Intermittent Wipers, Water Heater, Solar
Panel, Electric Step, Inside/Outside Shower, TV Antenna, Television, VCR,
Skylight, Free Standing Table and Chairs, Thermo Windows, Fantastic Exhaust
Fan, Smoke Detector.
The sheer power of these vehicles is at times overwhelming, Many of them come
with trailer hitches as standard equipment and a matching tow trailer is also
available for many of these vehicles with all of the same amenities.
Overall the Winnebago project is coming along nicely and orders are pouring
in for the vehicles at an alarming rate.

Variants are already to numerous to mention. And several planets are
purchasing a very base model and customizing it even further for the benefit
of the consumer.

==Overview:==
Due to the success of the Winnebago but the desire for extras from the
consumer the Winnebago trailer was introduced shortly after the first Motor
Home rolled off the line at GM. The trailer measures a impressive 30 feet long
with a 7 ton cargo bay designed for a small vehicle as large as an SUV, and 4
more tons of cargo space located around the vehicle as well.
==Capabilities:==
Measuring 30 feet long and 9 feet wide the Trailer addition has a small living
space in the first 10 feet (with 2 additional fold outs) that can sleep 2
comfortably. the remaining 20 feet is dedicated to storage and small vehicle
transport. Since many of these are being used by avid sports man the
additional cargo bays have several amazing features. Anything from
refrigeration units and freezers to hover cycle storage to full work shops are
available. Hooks for cargo netting and securing items are recessed into the
unit on all 6 sides (this includes the doors).

That would work as a luxury mobile command post. Pretty fast for a winnebago too.

Funny thing is I got the idea from one of the guys I work with (hes retired from the FD and works during the summer to go to arizone during the winter) but he was saying that some of these RV's get crazy when it comes to the price. 45K for a new skin (outer shell), 145K for a custom interior stuff like that. I was looking at one that they are trying to sell (used) for 465K. I just couldnt believe it.

It's all about the brand name. Like motorcycles, I can get a 900cc bike from Harley for about 12,000 or I can get one from Honda for about 6,000. Things that make you go....OMG!!!!
