Well it was another great Origins. Only I got completely owned this year in every game. Yes I love Btech but I play anything I can try at the con. 14 various games, 2 draws was the best I could do.
So for all you Btech people, especially, MI, IN, OH, KY and WV, it is maybe a 5 hour drive, you need to go. You will never see so much Btech. Iron Winds has almost all minis they have ever made. Fan Pro is a little bit of a joke, but o well.
The Commandos do everything in their power to be ready and run a good show. And they do a hell of a job. From Thursday AM to Saturday night at least 4 games are running. They had intro games, the Grinder, Aerotech, huge 20 people battles, Martial Olympiad, and Grand Melee, throughout the time. At least 50 people were in the Btech area the entire time. Lots of new players were added or reintroduced to the game.
So if you are a tech addict, you can play 12-16 hours a day for 3 days. But do not plan on Sunday. The go out and drink real heavily on Saturday night, after packing up and that is that. Only one pickup game could be found.
So if you want to come and try smoke me or talk to a bunch of commando’s or drink like a fish, like me, then plan on it next year.
I want to thank the Commando's that did a hell of a job.
