I still busted a gut
Seems someone hasn't forgotten the Alternative Infantry Destruction topic from a few weeks back hehe. I myself only read them a few days ago while doing my post approval work. Very funny stuff

I had some beautiful fluff for this written up (in my head unfortunately). And as I started to work on this football came on, and I forgot everything.

I love it. I was about to say that there should be more 'Mechs like this, but that would take away from the fun of it. What I'm wondering: what do you use for a ball?

Enemy battle armor? They should make a nice "clang!" sound.

I know I'm overthinking this, but it might also have a military purpose. You put new MechWarriors in Hatchetman-style ejection pods, and then teach them what it feels like. ::WHACK:: Or maybe we should put desk-bound officers in there instead?

They actually use the hatchetman mech for T-ball practice.

Kid from the stands watching batting practice: "Daddy why is the hatchetman kneeling like that? "

Dad: "Just watch son its batting practice they use the ejection pod to get their timing down."

Woosh the fans Oooo and Ahhhh as the head raises off the torso of the kneeling hatchet man.

CLANG!!!!

The mech swings and sends the head sailing over the right field wall.

a short time later the head returns under its own power and re attaches its self to the torso and awaits the next batter.
