You know. I was going to buy it just for that purpose. Let me ask you, For a typical btech game of about 3 maps. how many Heroscapes would I have to buy?

That depends on how hilly the terrain is, for plains: 1, rolling hills: 2-3, mountainous: 3-5
We have 1 box of the hexes and can do roughly 2 fairly hilly maps though we prefer asymetrical maps as they provide more realistic play

Isn't it sick the way we all saw this game and thought the same thing. The group I play with here got it when it came out around Christmas...it adds a nice demension.

CSS Herod has a sick amount of these things. He's posted either here or at classicbattletech.com, how to aquire them cheaply and efficiently. I am hoping that he brings them to TotalCon in 2007 and runs some events.
