I'm trying to create a C3 equipped company to reinforce a planet my players are raiding. I've promised that I would stick to canon designs, but I am only familiar with a few (and don't want to spend hours poring through TRO's or HMP to find out what has C3 and what doesn't).
It's a DCMS company that has been sent to the planet to prevent the PC's marauding. The campaign is set in the late 3050's, but I can use mechs from any era (I can always explain that it's a prototype undergoing field testing). Non-Kurita mechs are fine, too. We are using the batchall rules, so the Clanners will see what mechs make up the company before choosing their own force- anything too gimmicky will probably be wasted.
Does anyone have favorite C3 mechs, lances, or companies that might work in this situation?

What does clanner protocol have to do with the DCMS? Even a light clan star can seriously rip up a heavier IS company due to faster movement and longer range. C3 helps, but only if you disregard the clanner protocols. So you have already decided to not fight on the clanners' terms. Go full hog on it. Use minefields, traps and underhanded tactics. Don't give a truthful account of your forces. Sweep up a company of Saladins from behind when the clanners are stuck in.

The Tai-sho is a nice company-level C3 command mech. A little on the slow side, but it has enough long range weaponry to defend itself and maxed armour.
There's also the WFT-C Wolftrap, essentially the same as the original but with less armour to accomodate the C3 slave.
The Spider SDR-C would be a nice hit and fade mech if it didn't have paper thin armour, but it does have C3, so I mention it.
The Quickdraw QKD-C is another C3 slave mech that I like.
Those are about the only ones I could think of that weren't included on the previous list.

Hmm . . . the Tai-Sho looks like a good company commander and the Naginata makes a good lance leader. I kind like the Owns and Spider for quick spotting work- hopefully they'll be too little to draw much fire at first. I should be able to make a decent company from these lists.
I'm really limiting the company to twelve published mechs for game balance. So far the planetary defenders have been setting ambushes, laying mines, and generally fighting as tricky as possible, but they've been mostly green garrison troops with old equipment. The reinforcements will be skilled troops with top of the line mechs- and they'll outnumber the players better than 2 to 1. It'll already be a tough battle; thowing a few surprise Saladins into the mix could turn it into a rout. Good for the Dragon, maybe, but bad for player enjoyment.

If you want to be really mean you can have a company of Komodos and Naginatas. The new TRO 3055 Upgrades includes Komodo variants that have C3. One with a slave (KIM-2C) & another with a master (KIM-3C). The 3055U also has a Naginata with a slave (NG-C3C) and another with 2 masters (NG-C3B). A company of those 2 mechs all hooked up via C3 is very likely to tear apart most anything that isn't prepared to counter C3 units.

I already posted these variants here, but deleted them after a while, because I'm not sure if these upgrades were available before 3060

I don't have the stats fo C3 Komodos (old TRO). Is the KIM 2C just like the KIM 2 with a C3 slave in place of the TAG? If so, it would be an excellent addition to the company.
I'm guessing that at least two player mechs will have ECM, so the company can't rely totally on short range spotters. I'm also slightly worried that the company command mech (clearly identified before the battle) will be the primary target. I'm not sure how to stop that other than keeping him at max range and forcing the players to wade through the rest of the company to get to him. It should be interesting to see how they deal with it.

Yes, the slave Komodo just drops the TAG for it. The master drops the TAG, 2 HS & 2 ML. Plus the Komodo has an ECM as well so anyone trying to break up the network using their own can be easily countered by the Komodo just switching over to ECCM.
And if you're using the Naginata as the command mech, you SHOULD have it at max range, given as how it's weapon layout consists of 3 Artemis'd LRM15s & an ERPPC.
I'd suggest 2 lances of Komodo's & 1 of the Naginatas. While the enemy is trying to wade through all the laser fire from the Komodo's, the Naginatas will be pouring down LRM & PPC fire like no tomorrow.
And if you need specs, you can try looking at my webpage that is listed in my profile. I have a zip file on there that has all the 3055U designs.
Oh, and if you really want to screw things up, given that your PCs are clanners, you could throw in the new Berserker variant that's in the 55U as well. ERPPC, 6xERML, TSM, & adds a C3 Slave too. And of course has the hatchet still too. So as clanners, I'm sure they'd find it annoying. Only real concerns there are the facts that the BRZ isn't really a Drac mech and that it has ER mediums, which would put it in the 3060s time frame. Throw that in with the Komodo's to add some extra armor to the short range punch with the Nags fire-supporting and you'll definately give someone a real bad day.
Of course, this is all somewhat depending upon what your clanners are using too. If they've got a lot of heavy/assaults with big weapons, those Komodos (or any light armored IS mech for that matter), are likely to get crunched pretty quick. In which case you'll probably want something bigger.
