Both tanks are solid additions to any units. Acorn is a larger and more expensive variation on Main Gauche theme (with some extra additions). Terus is an interesting mix of low tech chassis with a few expensive toys. It may be quite useful as a defensive or support unit. I would try to keep the Terus away from fighting, because it doesn't have too strong armor and the GR is fixed forward... well, the tank was probably designed to work this way, wasn't it?

Yep. Defensive lines and siege work would be the forte of the Terus. It could also be a major addition to assault forces, taking out heavy fortifications and command machines from long range before the full attack begins.
It could also be used as a lure, forcing the enemy to either move out of position and attack it or be subjected to heavy (and precise) long-range fire.

Yes, but as a lure you must be sure that there are no VTOLs like the Warrior - they may be quite annoying when even the smallest hits count (maybe that the TW rules changed that a little).
