==Overview:==
After the disasterous incident with the Ghost Bears, the DCMS took severe
losses. Among these losses was the majority of the Combine's few assault
helicopters; most of them were second-hand Peregrines purchased from Blackwell
Industries, and fared poorly against the Clans.
Noting this, Acme Widgets - an international consumer goods conglomerate -
surprisingly rose to the challenge. Although they had been producing civilian
aircraft for some time, the Shuriken marks their first attempt at an actual
military air frame.
The Shuriken is, to put it simply, an ungainly vehicle. It is little more than
an MRM 20 and an engine, with a cockpit, C3 Slave, and landing gear squeezed
in. It is presently unknown how it will fare in real combat, but it has done
well enough in the trials to at least interest the DCMS.
