Hey guys - I don't paint mechs at all, but love to model with them on a strictly hobby level. Same thing around the flat - I'll build you your cupboard and hang it up, but don't ever ask me to paint your wall!
Nevertheless, I converted this model back around the time of submitting the one mech that I really did pride myself on: the Kronos, found on this very site at http://www.mordel.net/tro.php?a=vt&id=1739. I must admit I was disappointed at the general lack of approval - after all, this was designed a long, long time ago, in the 3050s mindset. The heart-piece is the patented TSM heat-control system, making it very, very simple to use TSM with this design. Any belated feedback would, of course, be more than welcome!
Unfortunately, the pics do show my ineptitude at painting - the whole thing is kinda like I wanted it, apart from the blotches. But, who cares? This could well be a custom Solaris paint-job that has suffered a bit in previous fights and had to be patched up provisionally. For my standards, that is pretty decent!
