I picked up a pack of hex bases and a starter mini kit through him.
*Shipping is fast. From the time he sent me notification of shipment until the time I got it was about four days.
*Prices are reasonable. He frequently charges below MSRP, and combines shipping to save on postage.
*He also offers discounts. It's a 2% rebate if you pay using PayPal, and he gave me a 5% discount on my next purchase for leaving him positive feedback. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." I am not telling you who to buy from and you may be in nowhere land but try and buy from a firebase. Look at the classic battletech site for a list. This is the only way we can easily bring new people into the mix. Also it is a place for us to hang out or play and find games.

And most of the firebases kill on the shipping and if you want to support local gaming stores you need to buy locally.
You and I both buy stuff Jon, mainly for the deals he works, I have yet to see a Firebase or most Internet stores willing to cut really good cost saving deals for the buyer. They have to stay in business, yet a FLAG or dealer like Jon, will do these things to keep you coming back.
As for bring in new people, most gaming stores, comic stores and some books stores normally will allow you to run a few games and help you hype the game, all you need to do is ask... _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

When I drop 300-400 at one time I go for the deal. But one book buys, a mini her or there, from the store.
But if they do not carry the game you play it is hard to get people in. Also the store will special order, but I know that means you are competing against the internet that is a no win deal.
