never liked the BLR-1D. Just something bout a BLR without a SRM 6 that just is not right. However, this does make good use of its features to make a worthy Company Command Mech. I also like the SPL over the MGs. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Whoa, looking at your design made me realise for the first time, ever, that the the -1S wasn't the only 3025 BMer with inversed arms, the -1D suffered from the same symptom!
Apart from that, this would be a nice upgrade for 3050. Standing next to the CP-11-C it would be very convincing. Later on (like 3058) not so much anymore. It really does lack punch - even the CP has a headcapper, which this one is sorely lacking. But then, I really like the addition of all those electronic gadgets.
Oh, and I agree with Vagabond. TW has made MGs extremely redundant. So I am in full support of the SPL. _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

I think you should have gone with the dual cockpit on top of the electronics. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

Would the ComStar version of this just use one of the C3i devices? _________________ "Historians exercise great power and some of them know it. They recreate the past, changing it to fit their own interpretations. Thus, they change the future as well." - Leto II

Since there's no benefit from mounting two C3i systems, then yes.

Meh. I don't think it's particularly special. It's just my BLR-2G with the JJs ripped out and replaced with advanced electronics. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Wait if you have two C3 Masters then you can run to different networks correct? So if that is still true then there is a good need for the two Masters. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

i think the difference there is the C3 Master that the DCMS (and others now) use and the C3i that ComStar Uses...
I think thats your question? Obviously the 2 Masters lets it control 2 Lances worth of C3 controlled mechs.
In that...find a way to make it a Company Commander!!! 3 Masters! BWAAAAHAHAHA.
it would be the least combat effective Battlemaster ever...but still a fine addition to the cause. _________________ "Historians exercise great power and some of them know it. They recreate the past, changing it to fit their own interpretations. Thus, they change the future as well." - Leto II

Two Masters let it lead its own lance and connect it with two other Masters and their lances to a company network! _________________ Reality is where the Pizza-man comes from!'Gucken, petzen, verpissen!' As Rudel indicated, you only need two Masters to run a Company sized C3. This can be done via 1 unit with 2 C3s or 2 units with 1 C3. Master computers can be slaved to another Master the same way a slave is slaved to a Master.
Thus a Master can control 3 Slaves or 3 Masters or 2 Slaves and a Master.
Thus 1 Master to control 3 slaves in Command Lance and 1 Master to control 2 Masters in Lance leaders.
OR
Thus 1 Master to control 2 slaves and 1 master in Command Lance and the other controlled Master to control 2 Masters in Lance leaders.
Even thou this could theoretically could all a 16 unit Network [5 masters; 2 in Company Command and 1 in each Lance Command] the technology is limited in capacity to 12 carrier singles [or in game turns, a 12 unit max C3 Network.] _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Total Warfare, Page 132. The diagram for C3 Network Configuration 2 was the inspiration. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Only one, instead, is an orange of DOOM. That orange has a fate to rule over the other oranges with an iron fist. That orange is me.

Weird c3-network-configurations there!
But if you have this composition of C3-equipped units: Why not? _________________ Reality is where the Pizza-man comes from!'Gucken, petzen, verpissen!'
