Notes:
The field kitchen are only crewed up to nine kitchens but their are supplies to allow for 6 months of operation. Another rule modification.

The Flightdecks provide two lifts only. This makes little sense when compared to real carriers but since has BT been about sense. This allows the unit to recover and lower then raise and launch two units every two minutes.

The Helipads provide two lifts only. This allows the unit to recover and lower then raise and launch two units every two minutes.

As an optional rule, the GM may allow the unit to use the two lifts on the flightdeck and the two lifts on the helipads together as four lifts.

I don't know how many lifts modern Carriers have but you can drop the two helipads for a third flight-deck. The VTOLs can start from a flight-deck too and i wouldn't bother whether a VTOL can use a "fighter lift" or not: common sense would dictate that it can! Wink
I think all the bays are really totally separated from another but together form some bigger hangars with appropriate equipment.

I like this ship.

Each flightdeck occupies 3 turrets spaces. On a 9 hex ship you only have 8 turrets as 1 hex is the control tower. Thus why i have 2 flightdecks and 2 helipads.

I like the concept. I have often toyed with the idea of navies in BT. SEveral of the house rules that I made were to try to come to grips with naval situations not in the rules. Thus my rules for volcanoes and depth charges. The volcano was interesting but the depth charges are still untested. This ship sounds like a good start for them. Load the SRMS in the VTOLs with some charges and go after underwater targets. (ie mechs making a lengthy water crossing by wading through or walking under the water)

Ähmm... I wanted to say: "I think all the bays are not really totally separated...

Combat Equipment says:
- Consisting of a 120-meter deck area,...
- Each flight deck reduces the number of turrets a Support Vehicle can mount by 3.
- Vehicle Template: E Maximum Flight Decks: 3

So you can mount 3 flightdecks on a template E vehicle even though it has only 8 possible turrets. A flight deck doesn't occupy 3 turrets but reduces the number of turrets by 3 (to a minimum of 0)!
So just design ahead! Wink

We have pitted some big (support vehicle) ships like my Yamato against another in a single test game and decided to introduce a lot of home rules to make it fun (instead of sinking most ships with a load of SRTs!).
