The idea here was simple: come up with a mod that could be performed on an L1 Locust to make it better suited for the 3060 time period.
An ER Medium was added to help the mech be able to deal with the fact that its opponents can now engage it from longer ranges. Twin flamers were added to give it anti-infantry capability without having all that ammo. Double heat sinks were added to deal with the extra heat, and ferro was added to give it almost the same protection but at half a ton less weight; the weight savings were used to add a sensor node (a device I created a few months ago) so that the Locust can now compete against units that might have ECM suites. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat."
