Hi all,
i never liked the weapons-mix of the original Stiletto. What do you think about my modification ?
( If you want to overheat, replace the C3 with a additional ERmL )

I know that i have 0.5 tons left and that i should have used it to raise the armor value.
But i didnt want to modify the original design too heavy.
I have replaced the Ammo&Case with Double-HS, all weapons with ERmL and added a C3slave in the head. Because of the 2 ERmL which replace the LRM5 in the CT i had to move a Endo Steel slot from the CT to the RA.

Yay, that mech really showed that Lyrans dont know light mechs. This seems to be a good variant.

It has the same problem as the Jenner: no long range weapons.
Because of this i had used ERmL instead of mPL.
I am thinking about making a more heavily modified variant with a energy weapon with longer range in the CT.

It`s a fast light mech, it doesn`t need any long range weapons taking up space/weight.

He does have a point...the largest weapon I would put on is a std lg laser.

Until i have time to radicaly redesig the SRO-MEX to use energy weapons with longer range, i have optimized the ald version for scouting:

With a jump capability of 3 and the Beagle Active Probe added to the Guardian ECM in the original version, energy weapons which can make a maximum of 19 damage ( compared to the meager maximum of 13 damage of the original version ) and are still not able to overheat the Stiletto ( even if he jumps each round ), the Stiletto STO-4J is the scout mech he should have been from the beginning !
