==Overview:==
A mech well known to every mech warrior and strikes fear into their hearts is the Atlas even to this day. However this mech no matter how feared it was the cost to make them is a bit high so with a new set of researchers they managed to Come up with a new machine that looks just like the first but weights in at 10 tons heavier and had become the Atlas II.
With the less mass it is cheaper to build and can be rolled off the assembly line faster as well making it able to be sent to Fed Sun forces faster.
However it has yet to be tested in either on the testing grounds or field tested its performance is unknown but this hasn’t dampened any of the warriors high spirits whom have been assigned this machine.

Well, I never liked shaving any weight out of the Atlas. That name cries 100 tons of badass metal here.
If you are looking for a downscaled Atlas chassis, then it's called Akuma _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

Hehe, I wouldn't call it that. The old 7D had always been a short range fighter with LRMs to make it look a mit less toothless at range, while the 7K is clearly equipped to fight a range, although it needs DHSs rather then the XL engine.
Personally I'd go for modification of the old 7D with medium range weapons. As I'm thinking about it it could be fun to have it equipped with MRMs, a big gun and Heavy PPCs, although that would require a lot of modifications... Hmmmmm *in deep thought * _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!
