==Overview:==
      As part of the military expansion program, the LBT-12 was constructed
assist the infantry units of the TC. the Libtz proved extremely suited in i
job. what it did not prove worthy at was anti-tank rolls. 

     when encountering other armored unit, its skin proved thin and its gun
holding enough punch to penitrate thick armor. thats when a contract was 
forwarded to TC HQ. The Ausfwagen, a medium weight battle tank. with a larg
engine, thicker armor, and a more powerfull gun, its proving to be a suitab
anti-tank vehicle.

==Capabilities:==
      With almost twice the speed, and two tons more armor, the Ausfwagen i
finding its way into armored units as a assistent to the Libtz. The design 
is costly, almost a 4 to 1 ratio of Libtz's to Ausfwagen's. this is caused 
the importation of the Ausfwagens main gun.

      A Mydron Excel Class 10 LBX autocannon surves as the Ausfwagens main 
which is supplied by five tons of ammo in a CASE protected bay. like the Li
the design is able to maintain long durations between suppling. 

     The choice of main gun was made in two parts, one the gun has an equal
range to the class 5, but easily twice the penitration. this means that the
can penitrate even thick hides. the second lies in the guns ability to fire
cluster munitions. allowing the Ausfwagen to disable large vehicles, by 
exploiting weak spots in there armor.

      To keep anti-tank crew suppressed, the Ausfwagen mounts twin co-axial
machine guns. each supplied with about one hundred bursts. the choice of th
machine gun was not over looked, and is the same model as the Libtz's.

      Most of the parts infact are usable by both the Ausfwagen and Libtz. 
allowing for easier production, and quick field repairs. production of the 
Ausfwagen is at about six per month, and does not appear to be expanded.

==Variants:==
      At this time only two variants have been presented. the first, replac
the class 10 LBX with a TC class 10 autocannon. this reduces the versitilit
the design, replacing it with repairability.

    the second, replaces the class 10 LBX for a TC class 20 autocannon. thi
variant drasticly reduces the attack range, and ammo endurance, replacing i
with extreme armor penitration. 

==Deployment==
     pairs of Ausfwagens are being shipped to units that are presently feil
the Libtz. as production is slow, its not believed that any single unit wil
see a company of Ausfwagens for over twelve more months.

This I like. Solid. Dependable. Easily capable of inflicting massive amounts of damage in massed calvary charges. Its almost enough to make me shout my name during a joygasim.

Oh the whole I'll give this 5 Feathers. I really like this unit, and I can definitly see myself using it in the future. At the very least its hitting my notes so I can keep it in mind.

What the hell does "Ausfwagen" mean? I only read German for five years, and haven`t used it much since. "wagen" is literally "wagon", but the "ausf" stumps me. "Ausführung" perhaps? As in the "Ausf G" you can see in the names of WW II German Panzers?

Otherwise, the tank is a solid design. Could prove useful for a slow-moving conventional force.

Ausfwagen means absolutly nothing.

i threw it together form the Panther A's real name, so Ausf G you spoke of is just that. a ww2 panzer.

thx. the design is as close a reproduction as possible to the Panther A. the reason its max speed is so low.

"Ausführung" is, literally, "construction" or "execution". In English I guess you`d
call it "variant", "model" or even "make".

The coolest isn`t a Panzer though, it`s the
StuG III Ausf G

Good solid tank. Good for infantry support.

-Thats close to my fav WW2 tank, the Jagdpanther.

you guys gotta get Close Combat 2 or 3....awesome WWII sims. NOTHING can kill a Kongstiger, that thing is a god-forsaken force of nature...

Steel Panthers was really good, even if the US artillery seemed to be psychic. Killing
a Königstiger took some doing there too.

Although the funniest scenario that came as standard had no Germans, only Finns versus the Russian 44th Mechanized. Usually, playing the Finns, not a single Ivan managed to run off the board
