Overview:
    A captured Barghest ended up in Kurita hands when Smoked Jaguar drop ships were captured
    with IS battlemechs that had been stripped of engines and armour but frames had been left.
    
    
    
    Given an Engine from a Grasshopper that they had no more cockpits for after one too many
    tangles with elementals. The engine let the empty Barghest gain a new lease on life. House
    Kurita left Standard Armour and Standard Internals on it but put a different engine in it.
    
    
    
    The jump jets seemed to be logical considering the Grasshopper engine was built for them.
    Even if it meant rebuilding the Barghest's internal structure, because that was easier than
    finding a new cockpit for a Grasshopper in Clan territory.

Capabilities:
    4 Medium Pulses and 2 Streak SRM 2s were put into this mech in an attempt to counter
    Elementals. The ER Large and the 2 ER Mediums, with the LRM 5 were suppost to provide longer
    range firepower but at the same time the clans out ranged this quad refit.
    
    
    
    Its tough but at the same time its kind of nice to know that one can send this quad out and
    expect it to fight effectively against most swarm attackers before they reach point blank
    range.

Deployment:
    The few House Kurita has are treasured because of their uniqueness. Meaning that samurai who
    are given this mech are either dispossed or are being brought out of retirement to any
    design that is available in an attempt to bolster sagging forces after the Ronin war that
    occured when Ghost Bear and DCMS chose to co-exist.
    
    
    
    House Steiner detests this refit and believes it isn't as effective as their Barghest's.
