Overview:
    After 3062 rolled around both the Draconis Combine, and Wolf in Exile worked together to
    produce a design. This design later shows up in Wolf in Exile, Nova Cat, Ghost Bear, and the
    DCMS, as all of them can manage to produce the IS 140 engine and standard IS double heat
    sinks. The IS/Clan heat sinks and endosteel varies depending on whose it is, but the design
    is setup to accomodate either setup without a redesign. The weaponry is 100% clan based
    forcing some of the users to subsitute in lesser IS tech in some repairs but since the DCMS
    only assigns it to elite border units they never worry about finding spares.
    
    
    
    The new IIC II model allows this Panther to positively smack around all previous models of
    the Panthers with ease, as well as its famed opponent the Wolf Hound. Giving all who possess
    it a definate edge in holding their cities.

Capabilities:
    The Panther IIC is just about the best this mech can become on the limited 35 ton chassis.
    The tech team on the project made one decision early on that set t he tone for the whole
    project. This was keeping the speed and jump capacity unchanged from the original 9R model,
    which all Panthers have.
    
    
    
    PPC becomes a clan model ER Large Laser, with two clan model LRM 5s with a ton of ammo, and
    two clan ER Medium Lasers, make up the primary weaponry at range. In close it becomes a much
    more dangerous machine as 4 clan Machine Guns, and 2 Streak SRM 2 systems come into range,
    allowing the LRMs to rest up for a bit since they lack a lot of ammo.
    
    
    
    The armour stayed at the 7.5 tons of standard armour, the engine stayed a 140 class, but the
    internals are of the newer endosteel variety. This design now can fill out most light lances
    admirably in both 2nd line clan units, and front line DCMS regiments. Its biggest weakness
    is only 12 shots for each LRM 5 rack, but this is usually fixed by pulling the machine guns
    for an ER small and some more ammo.
    
    
    
    The only difference in the WiE, DCMS, Ghost Bear, and Nova Cat versions is like noted above,
    the swapping of Standard IS/Clan engines and double heat sinks, the Endo Steel is likewise
    varied between both Clan and Inner Sphere types.

Deployment:
    The largest numbers are produced by WiE but a small number of custom built versions are
    built both on Luthien and Alshain, the Nova Cat's are still debating on whether they should
    build their own production line for this superb second line city fighter.
    
    
    
    The fact it can provide light indirect fire has proven quite useful for the mercenary unit
    Black Lightning, as in late 3061 one of their mechwarriors named Blackhand used it to
    demoralize a tank company. Sitting just outside of their dug in vehicles range, he proceeded
    to bombard them with a spotters help and destroyed 9 of them before the survivors
    surrendered.
