Overview:
    This upgrade to the 2K variant of the Whitworth occured and was called the 3K. It was
    created due to the lack of capability that the 2K was showing in most fights. The ranged
    capabilities were upgraded and the streaks were removed.
    
    
    
    The C3 is still there, and now this mech has become a much more useful partner to the trios
    of Panthers they support. For the cost of a medium lance now the DCMS can field 3 Panthers
    and a Whitworth with its top notch C3 network in the front line Ghost, and remaining Sword
    of Light Regiments.

Capabilities:
    This Whitworth still carries the C3 master, but it now has four LRM 5 racks for its ranged
    capability with two tons of ammo so speciality loads can be used.
    
    
    
    The ER Medium lasers are used for the in close fighting to create an in close fighting
    capability without strapping more ammo into this mech.
    
    
    
    Its just as fast and nimble as the Panther battlemech so the Whitworth sees yeomen's duty in
    the role of leading those lances and providing them light indirect fire.

Deployment:
    Slowly trickling into various units mostly as field refits of the Whitworth WTH-2Ks are
    switched over right now. In the near future it is hoped that the main production line can be
    easily switched over to produce the 3K model now. But, that can be costly and it is unknown
    when that will happen as mechs are needed to replace front line losses.
