Overview:
    The Lost Crusade is one of those oddities bred in the early days of the Solaris games.  It
    is built on a Crusader CRD-3L chassis.  The original owner was Willis McGumphrey.  Willis
    has the distinction of being the first private owner/pilot of a mech to lose their life in
    the Kurta Mountain arena.  The second owner is a gambler by the name of Johann Kendarson.
    He won several old warehouses in a high stakes match about 2 years after Willis lost his
    life.  Johann found the rusting hulk in one of those warehouses and decided to start
    retrofitting it to put his own stable together.  Unfortunatly he was low on cash and was
    quickly close to bancruptcy after repairing the engine and armor.  All it needed was a
    complete weapons system which was provided by an unfortunate accident.  A freighter carrying
    a load of standard MGs and ammo crashed into one of the moons around Solaris.  Johann was
    then able to acquire 4 pallets of MG and several truck loads of ammo.

Capabilities:
    The original Crusader lost the majority of its armament when it went critical at the hands
    of Willis McGumphrey.  Luckly (or perhaps unluckily) the only usuable equipment left were
    the pair of MGs.  Johann Kendarson was able to fill just about every available inch of the
    Crusader with his newly acquired MGs.  After completing the re-fit Johann renamed the mech
    to the Lost Crusade in respect for the original pilot.

Deployment:
    Only one of these is known to exist.  It is still in the hands of Johann Kendarson, but
    rarely sees combat.  Several arenas banned the Lost Crusade after they had the drains in the
    floor get clogged with empty shells.  Ironically one of the arenas that still allows this
    beast is the Kuritan mountain where it has used its incredible close range firepower to
    gruesome effect.
    
    
    
    The Lost Crusade sees limited service in the arenas.
