Overview:
    Quite satisifed with the sales of their Lineholder battlemech, Kressly Warworks set to
    searching for another low-tech, low-cost battlemech. After failing to design a satisfactory
    machine on their own, Kressly decided to look at older designs to resurrect. The machine
    they selected was the obscure Slinger, a 'mech produced in limited quantities during the
    early 2600s as a sort of "little brother" to the Stalker.

Capabilities:
    The Slinger possesses an array of weapons that is quite damaging for a 'mech of its' size,
    considering the fact that it utilizes no advanced technology. Twin Jackson B5c missile
    systems allow the 'mech a good punch at range, and the Sureshot Mk VI missile racks mounted
    in the legs give it deadly short-range power, despite being tricky to use in certain terrain
    types. For inexhaustable backup power, the Slinger also carries a pair of Kajuka Type 2
    "Bright Blossom" lasers.

Deployment:
    The Slinger is available to anyone with enough C-Bills to buy it. As such, it can be found
    almost everywhere, from garrisons and militias to mercenaries commands and pirate groups.
