Overview:
    Designed by Clan Snow Raven scientists, the Foxhound is a compromise between the firepower
    of the Puma and the speed of the vaunted Fenris design. With massive XL engines being
    reserved for heavy omni's, the design team chose the 280 XL and the 40-ton frame as best
    suited to a fast medium omnimech.
    
    
    
    NOTE: The original Foxhound design carried 17 ton of pod space and 7 tons of Ferro-Fibrous
    armor.  The Prime variant mistakenly shows only 16.5 tons of pod space and and extra .5 ton
    of armor.  Thanks to Sleeping Dragon for drawing my attention to the error.

Capabilities:
    The D variant improves upon the scouting ability of the Prime configuration.  Jump jets
    provide additional mobility, and the electronics suite provides both information and
    electronic cover for it's star-mates.  The weaponry is light, and geared for anti-infantry
    and vehicle duty, but the D configuration can also function as a light mech hunter.
    
    
    
    The hands and flamer are also sometimes employed to clear debris from salvage site, but only
    if time does not allow a team of technicians to perform this somewhat degrading labor.  With
    this in mind, the design team consciously chose to avoid mounting TAG; thus avoiding further
    warrior complaints.

Deployment:
    This design has yet to see major action, but several prototypes have already been
    incorporated into Snow Raven R-teams.
    
    Usually only a single D variant would be deployed in a single star or nova.
