Overview:
    In the early 3150's Kallon Industries would develop and start production of the Eris ERS-4I
    in collaboration with SAFE, the intelligence arm of the FWL, for the purpose of supporting
    special operation activities. SAFE in conjunction with the FWLM had identified the Eris
    frame as an ideal platform for Special Operations Warfare due to its combination of mobility
    and firepower and had covertly reached out to Kallon during the late 3140's. SAFE, would
    provide (in limited numbers, and in the face of increasing Clan Sea Fox hostility) certain
    Clan-Spec. technologies that industries within the FWL had at that time trouble acquiring in
    reliable numbers. The resulting product would become synonymous with the FWLM special
    warfare forces, and a welcome addition to what was becoming one of the most iconic and
    recognizable mechs in the FWL. To start the Eris 4I would replace the Snubnose PPC with a
    Clan Large Pulse Laser. It would also go ahead and replace the 3 small x-pulse lasers with 3
    Clan small pulse lasers. Additionally, the ERS-4I would install a Clan medium pulse laser, a
    Clan Streak SRM-6 supported by 1 ton of ammo protected by CASE II and an electronics suite,
    which included an Angel ECM System and a TAG, replacing the previously mounted MML 5's.
    Armor protection, speed, and cooling would remain the same from the ERS-2N. The Eris-4I
    would be in high demand throughout the FWL but only found in very limited quantities outside
    of Spec. Op. forces.
