Overview:
    So the Clans showed up with the Direwolf.  And someone said, "That's cool.  I'm going to
    make an Inner sphere Dire Wolf."  And they did.  And it was disappointing.  4 large lasers
    just don't have the same impact as 4 Clan ER Large lasers. And so in down the list.

Capabilities:
    And I said, "Thats cool.  But what if we actually tried to match the firepower of a Dire
    Wolf?"
    
    The Dire Wooly Dire Okami does its best to match a Dire Wolf Prime using Inner Sphere tech.
    It still doest quite match up to the Clan mech, but does make up for it in subtle and not so
    subtle ways.
    
    First is matching the ER Large lasers.   The best match the Inner Sphere has performance
    wise is the ER PPC.  Which is both heavier and hotter then the Clan weapon.  It also
    slightly under preforms in range.
    
    The UAC-5s were covered with RAC-2s.  Similar damage profiles.  Loss of a bit of range.
    Superior crit seeking capabilities.
    
    Medium pulse lasers are the worst match up.  ER Medium lasers at least give the same range
    brackets,  but fail in all other regards.  They do coincidentally match the 3 to 1 trade out
    in fire plan the Dire Wolf uses.
    
    The LRM-10 is replaced with an LRM.  This is generally a loss thanks to the minimum range.
    But an extra ton of ammo does help dull the blow with improved tactical flexibility.
    
    In the most disappointing mis-translation of a mech since the Rakshasa, the top speed of the
    Dire Wooly Dire Okami is only equal to the Dire Wolf's walking speed.  This is the
    unfortunate consequence of needing bigger systems with higher support needs to try and match
    the Clan's miniaturized tech.  The Inner Sphere had to go bigger.  Much bigger.  The only
    marginally good news is being able to use a standard engine, not that it helped with the
    price tag.
    
    The good news though is that Armor Coverage is vastly superior to the Clan mechs
    capabilities.  The larger frame allows almost twice the Armor to be mounted.

Notable MechWarriors:
    So there are Wolves.  Then there are Wolf analogs on other planets.  Which are often just
    called "Wolf" but using a preferred local language.  In this case Swedenese, etymologically
    from old earth's Japense.  Thus the Okami.
    
    Which would of been fine, but some planets are environments more akin to earth's last ice
    age.  So bigger is better.  The planet has Dire Okami.  And the Ice age has been going on
    for a long time.  Higher latitudes see Wooly Dire Okami.  And because one species always
    wants to be at the top of the food chain by being bigger then everything else,  there is the
    Dire Wooly Dire Okami.  Which was hunted to extinction within 20 years of humans showing up.
    Damn things kept trying to eat cars, usually with people in them.
