Overview:
    The Zephyros Omni-QuadVee was designed to be a relatively fast striker unit. To enhance its
    mobility, it was provided with wheels in lieu of tracks for its vehicular mode, and they
    form a rather unique tricycle type arrangement with one large wheel at the back of the
    vehicle, and a smaller wheel on either side on the front when in vehicle mode. The aft wheel
    splits in two when in QuadMech mode, with half on each rear leg.

Capabilities:
    Although it is not the most heavily armored QuadVee design; it is also not the least
    armored. Utilizing an extra light 270 fusion core and an endo-steel frame provides the
    design with 9 tons of pod space.
    
    In its Prime configuration, a pair of improved heavy medium lasers and a pair of medium
    pulse lasers are tied into a targeting computer, ensuring the gunner will hit what they aim
    for, and an extra double heat sink helps a little to contain waste heat.
    
    Alternate Configuration A is designed to deal with large amounts of infantry, with two small
    pulse lasers and six anti-personnel Gauss rifles mounted to the frame. The latter are fed by
    two tons of ammunition. To deal with larger targets, an extended-range medium laser and two
    extended-range small lasers are also mounted.
    
    Alternate Configuration B is a more generalist combatant, able to take on most foes. The
    primary weapons are a medium pulse laser and two extended range medium lasers. Backing these
    are a pair of short-range missile racks, each capable of launching six missiles at a time
    and fed from two tons of reloads.
    
    Alternate Configuration C is designed to be a long-range sniper, utilizing an extended-range
    large laser supported by two small racks of Advanced Tactical Missiles supplied with two
    tons of munitions.
    
    Finally, Alternate Configuration D is a scout, fitted with an advanced electronics package
    consisting of an Angel active probe, an ECM suite and Target Acquisition Gear for artillery
    spotting. An extended-range medium laser and two extended-range small lasers provide
    firepower against hardened threats while two dual-purpose small pulse lasers can defend
    against both hardened targets and infantry threats. A supercharger was also added to provide
    bursts of speed when needed.

Deployment:
    The Zephyros is quickly garnering a name for itself, and it being requests by multiple
    units. So far, demand is outstripping supply, so studies are being made to determine how
    best to increase production capability.
