Overview:
    One of the rare designs produced by the ill-fated Clan Widowmaker, the Maelstrom --
    known as the Redback among the Clans -- was popular with Widowmaker Mechwarriors
    after Operation Klondike. The design mounted an Enhanced ER PPC, a Clan standard ER large
    laser, two SLDF surplus medium pulse lasers and a prototype ER medium laser.

Variants:
    The Redback 2 further builds on the Enhanced PPC and prototype laser weaponry.
    Sporting two Enhanced PPCs in the arms and multiple prototype medium and small lasers in the
    head and torso. The SLDF pulse lasers and TAG were sacrificed to make these changes.

Notable MechWarriors:
    Star Commander Natasha Dubczeck: A deadly Mechwarrior who put down no less than 5
    Wolf Mechs with her Redback 2 on that sorrowful day in October, 2 before Fate spurned
    the Widowmakers and 3 after the Founder fell. This fact ensured that her legacy would
    continue, even being mixed with that of the Founder himself which produced one of the most
    famed Mechwarriors of all the Inner Sphere and Clanspace...
